Headache diary app for iPhone

Coming soon to the App Store. Easing isn't available to download yet.

Easing is a headache and migraine diary for iPhone. It records the things a paper headache diary asks for, like when it started and ended, how bad it was and what you took, and keeps them in one place you can turn into a PDF for your doctor.

Why use an app instead of paper

Paper diaries work, and some NHS headache clinics hand them out. An app can help in a few small ways:

  • You can start an entry while it hurts and end it later. Easing records how long it lasted.
  • The calendar shows a whole month at once, coloured by how bad each day was.
  • Medication days are counted for you, and Easing lets you know when they add up, so you can bring it up with your doctor.
  • The PDF report is ready when you need it, instead of a sheet you have to remember to bring.

What Easing records

  • Start and end of each episode.
  • Pain level and where it hurts, on a head map.
  • Symptoms, aura and medication you took.
  • Possible triggers you noticed, and a note.
  • Sleep and cycle from Apple Health, if you allow it. Easing never writes to Health.

Private by default

No account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Your entries live on your iPhone and in your own private iCloud. The privacy policy has the details.

What's free

Logging, the calendar, insights and a basic PDF report are free. Easing Pro adds a detailed doctor report, pattern alerts and a daily outlook.
